Anu Sundar – Co-Founder & Executive Director
Anu Sundar is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Dentiq. She meticulously oversees team management, and business strategy. With over a decade of experience in dental practice management since 2012, she ensures the clinic runs smoothly, compliantly, and always with the patient experience at its core.
Her professional background includes roles as an Information Officer at Tata Consultancy Services and a Subject Librarian at WINTEC, which sharpened her skills in systems thinking, information management, and leadership. She holds both a Master’s and an MPhil in Library and Information Science, bringing a structured, research-driven approach to her work.
At Dentiq, Anu has shaped not just the operational side but also the look and feel of the clinic, from designing the interior aesthetics to fostering a culture of professionalism and empathy. Her quiet diligence and high standards continue to set the tone for excellence across the team.
Outside of her executive role, Anu is a hands-on mother to Kanishka and Jenuka—balancing school runs, spreadsheets, and business meetings with seemingly effortless coordination (and just the right amount of coffee).

Debra Nabney – Registered Oral Health Therapist
Debra Nabney is a Registered Oral Health Therapist with over 35 years of continuous involvement in the dental profession. Her career began as a dental assistant, and her passion for oral health led her to earn a Bachelor of Oral Health from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2010.
Debra’s focus is on prevention, periodontal therapy, and patient education. She is calm and empathetic, especially skilled at easing the anxieties of nervous patients and helping them build confidence in their oral care journey.
Since joining the Dentiq team six years ago, she has become a valued clinician and trusted support for countless patients. Based in Hawke’s Bay for over a decade, Debra enjoys a balanced lifestyle that includes gardening, walking her dog, and spending time with her family.
She often jokes that pulling weeds and removing calculus offer similar satisfaction—except the latter comes with cleaner smiles!

Corrine – Dental Assistant
As a dental assistant at Dentiq, Corrine finds genuine fulfilment in being part of a team that values patient care, clinical excellence, and professional growth. No two days are the same—and that’s exactly what she loves about it.
Whether assisting with complex procedures or offering reassurance to a nervous patient, Corrine sees each interaction as a chance to make a positive impact. She has a strong passion for people and healthcare and brings warmth, attentiveness, and adaptability to her role.
Outside of work, Corrine enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, tending her garden, staying active with Pilates, and catching up with friends. Balance is key for her, and she’s found it both in the clinic and at home.

With a strong clinical background, Harry brings a high level of insight to the role. He anticipates needs, keeps the office running smoothly, and ensures every patient feels supported and cared for. His unique perspective adds depth to the team, blending practical skill with a deep understanding of dentistry.
Outside the clinic, Harry is an avid wildlife photographer—always chasing the perfect shot with his telephoto lens—and a passionate cricket fan who never misses a match (or a chance for tactical commentary).
Until he’s officially back in the dentist’s chair, Harry continues to contribute meaningfully behind the scenes—with skill, heart, and dedication.

Her clinical insight, combined with her attention to detail and strong communication skills, makes her exceptionally well-suited to her role. At Dentiq, Angelie manages appointment scheduling, coordinates enquiries, and ensures every patient’s visit is smooth and welcoming.
Known for her honesty, initiative, and reliability, Angelie helps keep the practice running efficiently, always keeping patients’ needs in mind. Her belief? “A well-managed schedule is just another way of caring for people—one appointment at a time.”
When not at work, Angelie enjoys connecting with her Filipino roots and sharing the warmth of hospitality that she brings naturally into her professional life.
